lAUREN, on December 11, 2019 at 11:17 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

I'm changing out of the wedding dress to another long dress after the pics. My grandma says this is too long to dance in, Did you change afterwards - was your dress long - did you trip over it - what do you think of this one!?!?

This dress is stunning! I say go for it, but see if you can get it hemmed (there's a reason wedding gowns get bustled) or even add a slit to the dress so that it opens when you walk so you don't have to worry about tripping on it. I am staying in my dress, but that's really just personal preference so if you love this dress, make the change!

That dress would be too long for anything, with the way it is in the picture. But, you could definitely get it hemmed and it would be perfect! I think it’s just wayyyy too long for the model. Lol. I can just picture my grandma seeing that picture and saying the same thing! So cute.

You wouldn’t be able to dance the way the pic is without ripping it. Beautiful though.

That dress is GORGEOUS & if I had it, I would wear all night. And breakfast the next morning. And to the grocery store every week... LOL But seriously, the dress is absolutely stunning, and you can always get it hemmed to a length that allows you to dance

Hi name & date twin! I love this dress! It's gorgeous! I'm all about the bling. Smiley smile It could be hard to dance in at the length it's currently at, but you could get it hemmed. I'm changing out of my dress but not until the getaway (we're going away on FH's motorcycle, but I can't wear my mermaid style dress on a motorcycle). I'll be changing into a white lace jumpsuit with an overskirt. You could, also, think about doing a jumpsuit. Mine is so comfy so I'm excited to wear it!

    O.M.G ITS BEAUTIFUL!

If you're planning on selling it once you're done with it let me know!!!!

(for dancing you'd probs want to hem it, esp so you can wear more comfortable shoes)

That's gorgeous. I didn't change but I've friends who did and they changed into another long gown but regardless the point of the reception gown is that it should be easier to move in than your wedding dress

The dress is way too long to do anything as it shows in the picture. As long as its hemmed to walk in, you should be able to dance in it. Since you’re probably not used to wearing long gowns, you’re going to have to be mindful of the length. But changing dresses wouldn’t be necessary. But get the dress hemmed, otherwise you may fall on your face walking down the isle.

My guess is (I could be wrong) is that the model was wearing a sample dress. I would think a dress in your size might not be so long.

It’s gorgeous! Definitely wear it! As PPs said, get it hemmed if it’s too long on you

Stunning dress! Where did you find it? It’s seriously swoon worthy! I agree with the others, once hemmed, it should be fine.
