I really have been wanting to cut my hair lately. I’ve had short hair and I miss it. I am getting married August 22nd, 2020. I would like to cut it a little longer than shoulder length. Here are reference photos of my hair now. Should I cut it or leave it?

Your hair is gorgeous! In terms of wedding, if the length of your hair is crucial to how you want to style it for your wedding, wait until after to cut it off. If you’d be able to find a wedding hairstyle you’d love with shorter hair, go for it!

I would leave it and cut it after. That’s what I did for my wedding. I was itching to get short hair again but the wedding hair I wanted was more for long hair. Also if you’re gonna cut it, consider donating it since you’ve got long healthy hair to do so

I think your hair inspo will work better with longer hair. I don’t think short hair will work for an intricate designs like that. Maybe cut it half way in between where it is now and shoulder length if you’re really looking to cut it. But I def wouldn’t make any big changes before your wedding.

I would do a hair trial and see what your stylist says.

I would just trim it to keep it healthy & then after the wedding, cut it to the style you want.

Omg that is the hair of my dreams! Don’t cut it before you’re wedding, you’ll have so so many more options for styles leaving it as long and thick as you can. Once you pick your style and have a hair stylist try it on you then she can let you know if it’s ok to lose a few inches. I would just hate for you to cut it and then wish you had just a little more length for a certain style.
I’m using extensions to get that look! My hair isn’t even half as long as the pic hahaTo cut or not to cut 4

    Go get a trim.
You can easily get 3 inches cut off.
It might cure the cut craving for a bit.

There are a lot of people who have shorter hair for weddings and rock it, but if it was me personally, I wouldn’t cut it.
I cut mine a while back but it won’t be long enough for my preference so now I’m considering getting extensions 😭 lol

If you already have a hair stylist picked out I would ask them if they can compete your chosen hair style with shorter hair. If not, cut it after the wedding!

I would leave it. You can always fake longer hair to make it look shorter and have more options then cut it later. I am planning on cutting my hair after the wedding too.

Leave it for the wedding. You won't get the hairstyle you want without the length and volume of your current hair. It will NOT look the same with shorter hair.

Hi wedding date twin! I was in the same boat as you and normally wear my hair shoulder length but have been growing it out for the wedding. With the styles you posted above, it would be much easier with your long hair. For updos in general, the longer the better. It will allow them to do a lot more, but it will also make the updo feel fuller. Yes they can probably do it with shoulder length hair, but it would feel flat

No one is going to encourage you to cut your hair. If you want to cut it, you will have to do so with the confidence of owning your own decision.
