bethf, on May 22, 2019 at 12:05 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 35

Sooo my dress is sort of plain in the front I am adding a belt but I was wondering if I put a bow at the bottom of the back of the dress? Would that look weird? Like where the dress starts on the lower back?

Need some opinions pleaseeeee Smiley smile

That's a gorgeous dress! I love the idea of adding a bow, I think it would really add to it in a great way!

Hmmm...I don't know - the bow is a beautuful touch on that other dress, but it kind of needs it. With the ruching on the back of yours, I'm not sure does. Curious what others think.....

That's how I felt!! I was just going to buy one and see how it looked. Nothing huge either just a normal bow lol

Maybe I'm wrong, but it might be a little transparent in the back? The bow might be a good idea.

I think the ruching in the back is beautiful and would be hidden by the bow.

Your dress looks so beautiful on you! It fits you like a glove!

If you are going to buy a bow and see how it looks, I'd love to see too! Would you share it with us? Smiley laugh

I'd suggest looking up Sorella Sashes on Etsy. It's like getting a belt and a bow in one with embellishments like flowers and rhinestones. This one is mine. They come in all color combos.

The back is stunning already! The bow would be nice too. I think a belt or something on the front would be nice

I think a belt in the front of your dress would be great .Because your ruching on the back of the dress is too beautiful to cover up.

No belt! Otherwise, you’re going to miss out on the pretty gathers and design that’s in the lower back of the dress. The one that you showed a picture of has a plain style in the back so the bow was helpful. Your dress has a sexier design, so the bow would be a mismatch of styles

I personally love butt bows, but I'd have to see it with your dress, since your style is very sexy!

What about a back necklace to add some sparkle and a little detail? There are about a bajjillion options on etsy, but this one jumped out at me.

Since your back goes very low, the placement of a bow will be lower & will look different than in the photo of the other dress where bow is a part of the belt. I think you should try & see how it looks.
Unrelated to the bow, your final dress will be lined or you’ll wear a slip, right? Just asking because it does look see through in the back, as pp mentioned & in the front you can see the belly button. I’m sure you already thought about this, but just mentioning in case that this went unnoticed.

I think that the rouching on the dress would make it hard to add a bow, plus that back is beautiful enough I personally don't think you need one.

I love the dress, in my opinion I would think the belt you're adding would give it enough of what you want. I wouldn't want anything to detract from that awesome back!

I would leave the dress as is! It’s beautiful and you can wear a great statement necklace or something. You have that gathering in the back. A bow would take away from that.

I vote something on the front! I was super against bling...but, after trying some on I was sold. I think maybe some kind of sash you could get sewn onto the front by your seamstress might work so it’s not Hiding the beautiful back!

you look hot hotchie machie mama!!
