tissue paper pom storage? I need ideas

TheOGJesse's Girl, on January 13, 2014 at 3:23 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

So I actually dreamed about making tissue paper poms the other night. LOL. Anyway, I'd like to go ahead and start making them. How in the world can I store them (and transport them) to the venue without crushing them? The people at the venue will put them out for me, but won't make them for me. So... any ideas???

I would get a tote for them and only put those in there...no lid on it?? that or maybe just bags and keep them away from anything else.....

Those things are such a pain sometimes but so pretty!

Could you do every step but the last (when you separate the layers). This way they can all be layed flat in a box?

    Or

Get a big tote and section it off with cardboard. Each Pom would have a "cubby".

    Or

Assuming they will be hung, tie them on hangers and hang them on a hook in the car?

    Trying to get creative...

I think an easy way right now would be the plastic totes with lids (that way nothing gets in and crushes them) given its after christmas you should be able to find some good deals on ones.

Lid to keep out moisture which would make them limp.

I've made them before in the past for other things and I kept them in a plastic tote with a lid on top to keep out moisture, etc. Loosely store them in the container..only enough that it will allow by just gently placing them in it, then move onto the next tote.
