Tips?

I think the list you have so far is good! I would tip the hair and makeup artists 15-20%, and maybe figure out a set amount for the photographer and DJ. Also check catering/servers/bartenders: if gratuity isn't included in the catering bill, I would give them a 15-20% tip. I would also tip the servers and bartenders if that's also not included in your bill. One last note, never feel obligated to tip if a vendor did not do a good job or if you're unhappy with the result of their work. Tip based on what you feel is right.

15% is standard but give what you feel they deserved. However tips should *only* be given after the honeymoon to those who went above and beyond the call of duty after you are able to objectively assess their work. Those who don't show, provide bad service, simply show up with nothing special to show for their time do not get tips, period.

The article posted by Lisa is what I based our estimates off of. We will have tips set aside for the cake delivery, DJ, Officiant, Photographer, Videographer, Florist. The rest of our vendors are included in our package and gratuity is included in the contract. I was initially going to have one of my brother give the envelopes out at the end of the night, but I might wait until after we see how everything turned out.
