Tips for Videographers???

MrsPreach2018, on August 17, 2017 at 11:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2

So, I'm pretty excited about looking for videographer. At, first there was no budget for it, but after some pretty cool convincing, I was able to add one into my budget.

As, I start my research for a wedding videographer I'm in need of some advice for what to look for, what to ask them. Any suggestions and tips are appreciated!

I think mostly you'll want to see their work first to decide if the style is right for you. So first search what's in your budget then ask them to see their work if it isn't already posted somewhere. Once you find someone who has the style video you're looking for ask them what is included in their packages. How many shooters did the sample videos? You'll want to make sure they shoot for the hours you need and are willing to film at multiple locations, if that's what you'll be doing. Check to make sure that they shoot in high resolution. And see if they provide edited video or if you'll be getting everything straight out the way it was taken (raw). And you'll want copies of the video so see how they deliver those, is it blu-ray, DVD, both, digital only? Also, how long will the video end up being after editing? You might also want to ask what their set up is like? Do they have these big honking pro cameras strapped to them or small camera on a tripod or monopod? Do they need lots of extra lighting?

I would suggest you asking your photographer if they have someone they like to work with. Im a photographer and knowing the videographer helps a lot.
