Tips for eyes swelling when crying

Okay... When I cry hard my eyes swell up super bad. At first I didn't want to cry at the wedding cause I'm an ugly cryer lol, but then I completely forgot that my eyes swell up like little bug eyes when I cry too much!! I cried myself to sleep a couple night a few weeks ago (pet related) and I woke up the next morning to my eyes humungous the next morning and beyond super puffy... I'm hoping I don't cry real hard but now I'm scared if I do it will ruin my wedding photos with puffy eyes!!!!!

Edit: and it's puffy eyelids not my entire eye area

Like even with a little tear shedding? I mean I've seen people shed tears at weddings, but never full on sobbing unless it's the mother of the groom and she's batshit crazy.

Maybe ask the person doing your makeup if they have anything that would help? Keep eye drops handy and if your MOH has an "oh shit kit" see if you can include those little cool gel pads for eyes that you could just hold under your eyes a bit before photos?

If I cry for awhile even if it's not sobbing they swell up

Like mine swell pretty bad when it's hard crying. Just tears though? No. The only thing I can think of is to rehearse, rehearse, rehearse so you can try and limit the amount you'd cry.

I"m hoping the glass of mimosa or glass of wine will help me not shed so many tears throughout the day
