Placing tables 6 feet apart. Putting 4-6 people at rounds for up to 10 people. At the ceremony spreading out seating. Markers on the floor in front of the bar for 6 feet distancing.

We're not having a dance floor. My FH and I will do our first dance, but that's about it. Due to social distancing guidelines and venue restrictions, we opted to cancel our DJ.

Ceremony seating will be done 6 feet apart with household/family groups together, and that will be replicated for dinner. Many tables will only have 3-5 people at them instead of 8+.

I would make sure to follow social distancing measures even with temp checks being done. They create a false sense of security. It’s good that you also have gloves, sanitizer, and masks. Just keep tables separated, sit households together at one table/one family per table, I don’t know how I’d feel about a dance floor. I don’t think I’d dance at this time unless it was a slow dance with my husband.
A friend of the family was a visitor at the hospital, got temp checked and was normal, stayed for a bit, and on the way home symptoms starting showing. The next day got tested and was positive. Not saying this will happen at your wedding, but at this time it can’t hurt to be too cautious because things like this are happening.

My best friend isn’t planning on displaying her cake. It’s not like anyone is going to sneeze on it (I hope) but people really could come right up to your cake so I think she just didn’t wanna risk it in general. Because I know people came right up to my cake and looked closely at it and took photos of it.

In the boxes on each table where we put the masks and sanitizers, I also included extra napkins. Everyone had linen napkins, but I wanted there to be extra napkins, and I didn't want to have to reach into a communal napkin pile.

I just set up a cake for a wedding today and they had this at the entrance to the venue. I thought it was really cool!

Our “wedding” (reception only) is in 8 days. We have a 50 person guest limit. Every table is people who are interacting with each other daily either way. Our venue has the dance floor pretty much limited to slow dances of three- 5 couples only. Masks are to be worn when visiting other tables, on the dance floor, and when walking around.
We also bought the vinyl bracelets you’d find at like a concert or so that snaps into holes in red yellow and green. Red- don’t stand so close to me, yellow- can’t we just talk green- with a great big hug. We got our wedding party matching masks as well. We’re also doing hand sanitizer as favors and temp checks
