Tipping your photography for engagement session

O my goodness! I could not be happier that you posted this! I was thinking about the same thing and was going to ask too! Our shoot is the 14th! Following!

I never thought of tipping for the engagement session but I do plan to tip every vendor at the wedding. But I'm also not sure how much to tip.

We didn't tip our engagement photographer because she is also doing our wedding, and the engagement session was part of the overall package. We will just tip her at the wedding.

If your engagement photographer is different than your wedding photographer, I think you should tip at your engagement pics.

That's wonderful!! Our session is Dec 17th. I love Christmas decorations plus I'm hoping for cooler weather. And was wondering how much and if to tip the photographer.

We hired the company so I am not sure if the same photographer will be doing our wedding.

I have never tipped a photographer before. It seems weird especially since most are independently employed. I have had graduation, bf/gf photo, boudoir and engagement photos all different photographers

We just had our engagement pics done but did not tip mainly because they are our photographers for the wedding and we plan to tip them then.

You tip them after the wedding for the engagement + wedding photos.

I didn't tip mine but I will tip our wedding photographer and videographer.

Thank you ladies, I mean I could ask Randy. He was the main person when I did the booking, but I not sure of that is appropriate.
