TIPPING VaLEt and security?

lindsey, on June 2, 2017 at 3:42 PM Posted in Planning 0 4

Security guards and valet for the venue I am interested is going to be costing around five grand. I was wondering what is the proper etiquette on tipping? Since my guests will be tipping them a few dollars each car or so, am I required to tip additional on top of the five grand? I am trying to look things up on Google but I can't seem to come with a concrete answer. Please help!

Personally I wouldn't. But I don't live according to what etiquette dictates.

People will probably tell you to find a way to tip them ahead of time because your guests shouldn't have to tip at all.

They better be the Secret Service for $5k.

Where I live most venues only require you to hire off duty cops for their off duty pay, which is around $25/hour.

But you should tip them. They're providing a service.
