Tipping the shuttle driver

We provided transportation between the hotel and venue at our wedding. We completely forgot to tip the driver (I know, I suck), but I'd like to rectify the situation. How much would you tip? We had the driver for 7.5 hours and it was like $800...Thanks!

I have to confess, I somehow read that as "tipping the driver," like cow tipping. *facedesk*

Was he constantly helping you or did he take breaks, lunch, etc?

Not sure. Check your contract to make sure gratuity wasn't included. Some of the guides I've read have suggested 15-20% if not included in the contract.

Gratuity wasn't included. She drove from the hotel to the venue at 4pm, then from the venue back to the hotel at 8:30pm and again at 10:30pm...

We have to tip our driver a minimum of 15% in addition to the $750 that went to the company (stated in our contract). Like Elizabeth said, just double check that it wasn't included in the contract.

For all of that I would definitely say a minimum of 15%.

I would say 15-20%, just mail her a check! Make sure you address the envelope specifically to your driver.
