Tipping for Hair and Makeup Trials

I just have a tipping etiquette question for makeup artists who work for themselves and not for a salon. I am having a makeup trial at her home this weekend and she is charging me $100 for the trial. I will absolutly tip her on the day of the wedding but since she works for herself does that price include tip? I just can't see spending that much for a trial and then tip on top. If she worked for a salon and was not keeping all that money for herself then I would definatly tip. Any thoughts? Please note I am not trying to be cheap but I just don't know how any of this works. Thanks!

My MUA also works for herself. I'm not positive on etiquette for tipping for the trial. Mine came out to a weird number (like $92 or something), so I just rounded up and gave her $100.

My HMUA charged me $150 for a trial and I absolutely tipped her 20% on the evening of the trial. She's taking time out of her schedule to sit and work with me on my hair and makeup. She could have done one or two people's hair in the amount of time we took. I actually forgot cash when I went and I inisisted on sending her something over venmo. She said I didn't have to and most brides forget but once I did, she was super grateful. Also, she is close friends with the girl who cuts/highlights my hair.

I tipped 20% for both hair and makeup trials (separate people).
Hair did an excellent job and we booked her so tipped her.
MUA cane to my house so tipped her for traveling to me even though I probably won't book her.. I liked it but didnt love it.
