Tipping for hair and makeup trial?

I always tip my hairdresser everytime I go in...I would assume a trial is no different.

I tipped them every time. Including the free second trial they gave me due to my original hair stylist leaving.

I didn't tip at the trial, but I did tip hefty on the wedding day

My hair stylist is not at a salon, it's her own business she does on the side, so I did not tip her for my trials. We will still be tipping her on the wedding day.

I tipped for my trial. She did a great job and arched my eyebrows which I believe doesn't come with the trial.

I was wondering about this too. There's a clause in my contract that states tips will be rolled into the final cost of the package. Even though I'm charged separately for the hair/makeup trial, then I wonder if that means they're including the tip for the trial in with the cost of the trial. Mine is still a very long way off, but I have already begun wondering about this.

Just like getting my nails done, I always tip when I've had a haircut. So yes, I would tip for hair and makeup trial.

I always tip, but then again I've had the same stylist for years so I probably won't do a trial. Getting my hair done is a 4+ hour process, and I don't have the patience to get it done twice in the same month. Lol

I'm not planning on tipping for my makeup trial or hair trial but they are both good friends who I've gone to previously and know that I will tip generously on my wedding day.
