Tipping Florist?

I try to tip anyone who performed a service. So yes for florist if they deliver and set up. I'd tip for cake delivery like $20. For florist, depends on the extent of the setup. I'm tipping mine a few hundred dollars.

Agree with pp, for florist and cake, we tipped for delivery (in addition to the actual delivery charges that were included in their costs). We tipped each $20 or 25, I forget. We tipped the photographer and DJ what worked about to be about 8% ($200 and $100) on top of their charges; they both own their own businesses and their websites said something like, "tips are never expected, but always appreciated." Daughter absolutely LOVED all her vendors -- they each made the process and day-of super easy for her -- so we wanted to let them know we appreciated all they did.

I’m only tipping employees - servers, bartenders, potentially HMUA depending on if I use a salon or hire an independent person. Tipping business owners is a terrible practice. It encourages them to underprice their services and then surprise people with a “suggestion” to tip. At least tipping service workers is a standard practice.
