Hey brides! Are you tipping all your vendors? What is the general amount you tip a vendor? Obviously I will tip my venue, coordinator and maitre'd, but if I did 20% for everyone I would be racking up a few thousand more dollars and I just don't see how that's feasible. I heard you don't tip people if they're sole proprietors. Do you guys agree?

My DOC is putting together a tip schedule/recommendations for us. I can share what she tells us once she emails it to me. I'm interested to see how much tips are going to add up as well.

We plan on tipping each server and bartender at our venue $25. Our photographer's invoice is $1250, so we're probably just going to give her $50 to make it an even $1300. Our DJ- a friend- is refusing an actual payment so we're just going to reimburse him the cost of his hotel instead $80.

That's so nice of your friend!! Yeah, definitely have to tip the servers and bartenders. Do you have plans to tip your florist?

It really is, he’s been great. We don’t plan on tipping the florist as we’ll be picking up ourselves. They will certainly get a thank you and a review.
