Hello! I wanted to know how much people tipped their vendors for their wedding day? We have the DJ, photographer, videographer, and officiant. Our venue and party bus already have tip included

Those who we prepared/gave individual tip envelopes to:

    -Photographer

    -DJ

-Officiant (she did an amazing job - multiple contact with daughter/husband in the six months up to the ceremony, and a very personalized ceremony that was wonderful)

-Venue Coordinator - worked with us from the six month mark and did a wonderful job day of; I called her my 'Jennifer Lopez of the Day' ; she even looked a little like her with her headset and heels!

-Each individual server who worked our event - got the names from our Coordinator the week before

-Each bartender who worked our event - got their names from our Coordinator

-Each member of the kitchen staff who cooked/served at our event - got their names from our Coordinator

-Executive Chef who helped us plan the meal - he even did a special tasting with us to help plan a custom chicken dish off the usual catering menu

All the salon staff that did hair and makeup were tipped at the time of service.

This is how my husband and I tipped our vendors

    DJ - $150

Photographer - $200 (she spent 12 hours with us the day of the wedding. She was with us from 9am - 9pm)

Bartender - $200 (she only charged us $100 for the 4 hours of our reception b/c we let her put out a tip jar. She made about $2,000 from our guests in tips and we gave her the extra $200 at the end of the night)

Catering Staff - $75 each; we used an outside restaurant to caterer b/c it was cheaper than going with the catering option at our venue (and our venue allowed outside catering). The restaurant had 4 of their employees work our wedding so they each got $75 from my husband and I.

Officiant - $0. We did not tip our officiant b/c he is a good friend of ours. We got him a really nice gift as a thank you, as well as a gift card for him and his wife to go out to their favorite restaurant.

Why to tip them if nothing was free. Tip Zero you paid for the service that all. Put a 5 start on their website that's another way of tips
