Tip Dance Instructor?

I'm wondering if we should tip our dance instructor. We paid for 5 dance lessons in advance and I'm wondering if people usually tip during their final lesson or not. Seems odd to me to tip, but I don't want to be rude!

Hmmm......I never even thought about this. Yes, there is something that feels a little odd about it! Maybe a bottle of wine or something like that?

I agree with Mrs. Fall Bride. If you had a special bond with the instructor and want to give her flowers or some other little token of thanks, that would probably be appreciated, but I don't think a tip is necessary.

No tip necessary. Heck, I have taught wedding dance lessons for free before! (Slightly different situation)

Dance instructor here. No tip is necessary. Most dance instructors charge a reasonable rate where they dont expect tips. If they were a really good instructor and and you enjoyed your time with them a hand written thank you note after your wedding expressing your appreciation is always a nice touch!

Are you paying the dance instructor or are you paying a studio and the studio is paying the instructor?
