I have been scouring the web for the best price on Mason jars - which bizarrely turns out to be Kmart, at $10/doz. pint size - until I came across a Lancaster, PA business called FILLMORE CONTAINERS, a glassworks that sells glass 16 oz. mason-style drinking mugs *with handle* for $11.23/case of 12!
Started looking at their other products, and they sell a 2 gallon glass drink dispenser *with metal stand* for $27 - AND the spigot is nearly at the bottom of the jar! YAY!
