I think it looks good! It is detailed enough that people will know what is going on but won't feel overwhelmed! Good job!

I'm glad I'm not the only person planning on a slightly later start. I'm chronically late, so why not stay on brand.

I think it looks right not sure if first dance will need 15 minutes. Or roast lasting a half hour. Plus can guest dance after cake cutting. It won’t take long to eat a slice of cake.

Sometimes there is only about 15 minutes between the time cake and dessert is served until people are welcomed to dance. Also first dance takes about 5 minutes. Your probably looking to start dance party around 6:30 or 6:45 but otherwise it looks good.

Are you taking any pictures with groom/groomsmen before the ceremony? If so, you will need to build in time for those pictures as well. The reception looks a little choppy, I'm with PP's, there is no need to build in lengths of time for things such as first dance, speeches, cake cutting, etc. When are guests allowed to start dancing? It seems like they sit through 2 hours of events before the party gets started.

Are bridesmaids doing their own make up? And how many hair stylists will you have ? I’m presuming not everyone will be getting their hair done at the same time, therefore, there shouldn’t be reason one BM can’t get started on make up with the other gets their hair styled , etc. Unless these 2 things have to happen at two separate locations, there’s no need for them to happen at separate times. We had 2 hairstylists and 1 make up artist, and everyone was working simultaneously. It’s s nice way to speed up the process.

Also wondering about the things in 15 minute increments at the reception— does this mean there’s other things happening between them (open dancing, eating etc), or are they all meant to happen one right after the other. Referring to first dance, parent dance, bouquet toss, cake cutting. If so, none of those things require 15 minutes. Also curious about the break between cake cutting and dance party. I’d have the music going and the dance floor open for sure throughout dessert time. People will want to be dancing earlier and longer than from 7-8 (and in some crowds if there’s music going there’s no keeping them from the dance floor). I’ve never been to a wedding where people remain seated through dessert , usually dancing gets going and then people can sit for dessert if/as they please.

Dessert eating also takes less time than dinner eating in general. More like 15-20 than 45. I think you’ll be able to shift a bit to allow for way more dancing time in the end Smiley smile

Yeah! We want music going basically whole time. These are more estimates of when each event will start roughly. So after parent dances ppl can dance the DJ will come on and say okay bouquet toss and then back to dancing

They won’t be sitting the whole time. In between “events” there will be music and people are welcome to dance. After we cut cake people are welcome to grab a piece of a desert and go back for bites between dancing and such if they want.
