Timeline for Save the Date's + Invites

How many months in advance did you send your Save the Dates and invites?

We are getting married this Saturday in Texas, but our families are back in Canada. We are renewing our vows and having a reception July 2019 in Canada. Our Save the Dates need to explain this, so we weren't sure how early to send those out?

    We sent STDs about 6 months prior and will be sending invites around 6-8 weeks prior.

    We're getting married in Greece in July of this year.

    We sent Save the Dates in January of this year.

    We are sending invites in late April of this year.

    I would say 6 to 8 months in advance for Save the Dates are good.

    Invites can be sent out 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 months in advance.

    We sent our Save the Dates about seven months before the wedding. We will probably send the wedding invitations 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
