What time are you guys having your ceremony start? I was thinking of doing a 5pm ceremony. We have the venue 12-12, but it would end at 11 to start clean up. We want to do first look photos. Is 5pm to early? I was going to have my hair and makeup done at the venue meaning we wouldn’t be able to start till 12:15 at the earliest, is that enough time for hair and makeup? In my mind it’d be 12-2 hair and makeup 2:15 get dressed 2:30-4:30 photos 5pm ceremony. I believe I will be the only one getting my hair and makeup professionally done, other than my mother. I’m stressing and don’t know what to do!

Have you done a hair and makeup trial yet? A lot of the time they will let you know how much time they will need in order to get you ready. 5 definitely isn't too early though.

We set up our timeline with our photographer - because of the sunset. So it helped a lot with stress and knowing when we needed to have things done, and to let other vendors know what our unofficial/official timeline is outlined as. We are having a November wedding so sunset for us is 1705. Our ceremony is at 4pm and we have the venue all day. We are doing before pictures that will start at 1-2pm with first looks and will be able to mingle with our guests during the end of cocktail hour after our couple photos.

At least that's the plan!
