How long did it take, per bridesmaid, for makeup? For you?
What about for hair?
Please also keep in mind I like dramatic, photo-ready makeup, not a natural/barely there look.
How long for hair?
i just discussed booking someone for makeup, and she had a 5 person minimum, but claims she can do 10 people. (Online I am seeing it normally takes 45 min per person for makeup, but ranges 30 min to an hour. 45 min, puts 5 people at almost 4 hours of work, and 7.5 hours for 10 people.)

The usual time for hair and makeup for the bride is 2 hours (1 hour for each service) and anywhere from 30 minutes-1 hour for each service for the bridesmaids depending on the style of hair and makeup. Usually the HMUA will bring an assistant if there are a lot of people or not enough time to get everyone ready. I find it hard to believe that HMUA would do 10 people all by herself. Did she mention bringing an assistant?

Wow unless she’s starting super early in the morning for an evening wedding I don’t know how she can do 10 people alone. Ask is she’s bringing an assistant. My girl took 2 hours for my hair and makeup and about 45 for each service for a bridesmaid so it depends if everyone is getting hair and makeup. That’s a lot of time.

My makeup artist said 45 minutes each for the bridal party and 60-90 minutes for me. But that's is because she intends to airbrush my face.

Hair, I haven't done my trail yest but I would assume about the same amount of time since I have long hair.

45 minutes per service for bridesmaids & moms, and 1 hour per service for me. That's what we budgeted at least! We are doing HAMU from 10 AM - 4 PM and we have 13 women total (we hired 4 artists).
