It depends on what your idea of a decent price is, but you're probably not going to find these for less than $2.50 each. I would check out Etsy. As far as meal choices, I would color code them. For example, gold name = chicken and silver name = pork.

We used these as a place setting/meal choice. It’s not the greatest of photos but it works. We used white marble for chicken and then different paint swipe backgrounds (gold or green) on acrylic for steak/veggie. It was easier on the servers to see the background color than a small script color. They were a bit smaller than i thought they were going to be.

honestly, we might be the only ones that still use ours as coasters so keep that in mind if your total is $$$$. They were beautiful but i wouldn’t have used them if we had a big wedding.

I've never done that for events. However I've made my own tile coasters before and you can just get em for cheap at any hardware store like home Depot

I'm planning on using the idea but going a slightly different route. I'll be purchasing the larger version of these and doing one per table (so, all of the names at Table 1 would be placed on the tile, etc.). I'll then mount them to a wooden sign I already have with caulking. They won't be able to take them home with them, but it will A) cut down on costs for me and B) allow me to cleanly label everyone's names and table numbers. Maybe another option for you? If not, can you designate meal choices by either writing the words in different colors to designate different choices (gold for chicken, white for beef, etc). or by placing a small silhouette sticker of the choice under the name (chicken, cow, leaf, etc.)? As far as table numbers, maybe have them placed on a table sorted by table with signs to help? Like, have a sign that says Table 1 and then place all of the names of the people at Table 1 next to the sign, etc.?

They end up being about $1 a piece. The reviews show other people used these for the same thing too. I might do this but with smaller tiles since we’ll be having about 100-120 people.

Also you can just make the names smaller and then add the table number. They also make these really cute food choice stickers.
