TIGHTER than Spanx!

Des, on February 10, 2014 at 12:42 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 22

Although I'm a big fan of Spanx I need something that's really going to suck in my lower pooch! I wore my most expensive body spanx ($85) to try on dresses and did not have the support I want for my big day.

Any suggestions? Show pics too if you have them.

I have the same issue with Spanx. Those bitches don't work, lol.

I went to Kohl's and got the Flexees by Maidenform pair of shapewear. Honey, that thing flattens my tummy like nobody's business!!!! I highly suggest it. They were $35 too. I don't have a pic of me without it, just suffice it to say I love junk food, lol. Here's a pic of me in my dress with the shapewear.

They have different shapes for different areas, so I don't know. I don't have an ass at all, so I can't speak on that, lol.

Thanks for the info because I'm worried about the extra skin I've gained thanks to pregnancy. I know exercising and dieting is the way to go but that doesn't work for everyone especially when the fat gene runs on both sides of the family!!!

This dress is made my Moonlight Bridal. It's apparently an older brand (still in business). I had never heard of them until I got this dress. It's very similar to Maggie Sottero's Mia dress. If you go to Moonlight Bridal's website, you can locate a store near you.

@Jesse's girl- Beautiful dress! and thanks for the tip on the shapewear. I need it too! Now if I could find a bathing suit to suck in my fat as well we would be in business!

Get yourself a good corset... that is the only thing that has helped me achieve the look it sounds like you want. The one that I have is called a waist trainer and has strings on the back that really pulls it all in like back in the 20's. I got mine on Amazon for about $60 but http://www.corset-story.com/corsets/buy-one-get-one-free.html gave a lot of great info on the differences in the corsets. And please do not be alarmed by the negative viewpoints on the health issue on using corsets. I have worn mine 2xs already for around 8 hours and my organs are still in tact and I could breathe and function as normal.

Here is my photo with the corset and it couldve been a little tighter. The corsets will allow for I think up to 4inches of "pull". It tucks in the tummy and cinches the waist

I'm a firm believer in the corset. Those suckers hold in everything. That was my "must have" when dress shopping. Here is a pic of my BM getting me in the dress. I had been holding in my gut while they were lacing me. No gut when they finished!

It was actually built into the dress. But I've purchased some corsets from Adoreme.com.

The dresses I am deciding on both have a corset but for even more support I like the highwaisted, tummy control panties, from legluxe.com. I have about 5 pairs and I always wear them under anything form fitting. With the corset and those panties (they also come in thong) I will be good to go.
