Tiara or headband

Brady, on April 8, 2018 at 3:59 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 18
Should I wear a tiara or a headband for my wedding?i have a longer white veil with turquoise ribbon around the edges. I’m getting married in September. Any advice? What are most people doing now a days?

My new tiara choice- suits the Queen of Hearts much better!Tiara or headband 1

I love tiaras, so that's what I'm having.

That is completely your decision. How formal is your wedding? Is your dress a ballgown? If it is not formal and/or not a ballgown I would suggest the hairband. Personally, tiaras are not for me, but if you want to wear one, wear one.

My friend who is getting married in July got a tiara. My other friend who Lready is married hates them. I suggest going and trying both types on and seeing which one makes you the happiest. Once I find a dress, that's what I'm planning to do. Good luck and I'm sure you'll look beautiful either way!!

It’s not really formal. Our wedding is football themed. I’m wearing a white dress still. I was thinking either a blue headband or tiara

I personally would say a headband. Tiaras make me think its a sweet 16.

Not until March 2020 😂😭. Technically, we're not engaged but we've been dating 7 years (from Junior High) and I know he's doing it soon (hopefully weeks and not months...)

Are you and he on the same page on when it's happening?? I was in a similar situation, years before FH. I, personally, wouldn't plan or put any money down until you're 100% sure you're engaged, and a date has actually been agreed upon by both of you.

For a football themed wedding, I wouldn't suggest a tiara, as it's way too formal for your event it sounds like.

Yup 100% positive. He's bought the ring and has it and we've discussed almost all aspects of our wedding and future children. I just don't know when which is cool. I like surprises. Thanks for checking though!!

That's a good point about football wedding. I'd say though if it makes you happy, it's your day. Wouldn't be the absolute strangest thing though.

We’ve been engaged since last February. My wedding is taking place September 15, 2018. Our wedding colors are Malibu blue and coral. I was thinking of getting a blue headband to match the blue color. What do you think??

Personally it depends on the formality of your wedding, and what you feel comfortable wearing. Our wedding is formal, but I prefer a headband, not a tiara. If your wedding is more casual, a tiara would stick out, and not really match the vibe of the wedding.

I’m on the fence about tiaras in general, I think on some brides it looks amazing, and some it doesn’t. I don’t really like them, per se, I think they seem to be more for Sweet 16s.

Totally your choice, I’m a hairpiece/band gal but if you prefer the tiara then go for it

I would personally suggest a headband. A tiara really doesnt fit your theme. But go try on both and see what you like best.

It depends on your style. I personally don’t like tiaras. I think it’s more for sweet 16s. But I know a lot of gals like to wear them and look beautiful in them

I say a headband. Tiaras I see too many times at quince's (15 year old party).
