Throwing flowers petals at ceremony!!

I have seen people use like baskets that are tied with ribbons to the chair and it's super cute. Try looking on pinterest maybe? They might have somethin perfect for you

Would the people hold them then until after the ceremony?

I have mentioned this before to a few brides planning to do this: please consider having them scatter the petals to the outsides of the aisle due to the fact that if your dress is floor length or have any amount of train, you are basically wearing a large broom. Once you get to the end, have the ceremony and go to turn around to walk back down the aisle, most of the petals are bunched up under your dress. Just something to consider.

I'd suggest giving paper cones of flowers to only the guests on the aisle seats. Those farther away won't be able to throw the petals far enough.
