Throne chairs....absolom Roche?????????

I love that website an their furniture..FH HATES it all so I don't get any if it. Boo.
But, I would say if you plan on buying, then make sure it is something you will use and have a place for in your home etc.
Even if you planned on reselling (which could take a while)

Wow! Amazing stuff! Have you tried looking at antique or consignment stores, or even e-bay? You might be able to find something a little beaten up and refresh it with new upholstery and paint! Good luck, cant wait to see what you find!

Have you thought about renting or buying peacock chairs instead? They would go with your theme and be something you could use on your patio after the wedding.

Some of the rental companies I looked at had chairs similar to these and if I remember correctly it was less than a $100 per chair to rent. Have you looked around at rental companies in your area just to make sure?

I have ordered my bed frame from them and it still hasn’t shown up. It was supposed to be shipped last month but we still haven’t been notified of shipment yet. With that being said, when I did email (because calling no one answers) I did speak with someone who called me back the next morning. She said that we should receive our bed May 27th. And despite that this is supposedly a Malaysian company with a very rude woman (as the bad reviews say) the woman I spoke with was very polite and very Southern lol. There’s also another company with very similar furniture called Fabulous and Baroque the we’ve ordered several pieces. I spoke with Shay from the company and she was incredibly helpful. They have about a four month turnaround.

All of the comments have been especially helpful. ill look into fabulous and baroque.

Unfortunately not yet. As one of the reviews said happened to them, we were told 3 weeks ago that our bed was damaged in transit. But we were never called when they were supposed to let us know about the shipping date, and they never called us to let us know it was damaged. It was only after I tried getting into contact with them to ask wth was going on. Instead of talking to me, they just refunded my card. I told them I didn’t ask for a refund, I just wanted the bed. Since then (June 6th) they have reversed the refund and told us they would ship a new piece to us within 10-12 business days. We haven’t heard anything since, and my status request from Friday has gone unanswered lol. So now we are going on 3 months since it’s been ordered.

This company takes your money with no intention of ever shipping your purchase.

If your area has antique stores/ malls, start looking there.

This company is nothing but a scammer. I bought 12 chairs from them and I had to wait 2 1/2 months after paying my money to them for them to tell me they canceled my order. They cleaned it had something to do with the credit card processor but yet when you go to re-order, you have to pay 10 times the sale price that I Bought it for. Point blank, I think they took that money from hundreds of customers just to buy the inventory from overseas and to make their minimum to get a cheap price and then they refund or cancel everyone’s order. I see one pissed consumers we are many people did not get their refunds. I got mine only because I disputed mine through the bank. Smells like scammer scammer

DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ABSOLON. GO TO ALIBABA AND BUY IT DIRECT FROM THE FACTORY, THEY ARE MANY SUPPLIERS

Go to Alibaba.com, where you going to find many factories who provide this kind of chairs. Some of them accept a minimum order (1). You can negotiate with them the shipping cost. Search for Throne chairs and you will see.

Actually, Fabulous & Baroque are NOT the same company. I have several pieces of furniture that I just recently dived from them on Wednesday. I will admit it took about 6 months to get the pieces, but it was worth the wait. The furniture is beautiful and well made. Shea has been amazing at keeping in contact with me and always answers within 48 hours. I actually gave two more pieces on order that I should be receiving some time in January to March. Absolom Roche, however, is a scam.

I purchased a bed from Fabulous & Baroque a few years ago. I lived in Austin and drove to their Round Rock showroom/warehouse and saw the "quick ship" bed in person and it was delivered a week or so later. I loved the bed but the price was high to say the least. Fast forward to December '18 and I wanted to get a few more pieces; came across the Absolom Roche site and placed a "pre order" and now that it is almost 2 months past the expected delivery and sending an email a week asking for an update. I see all sorts of complaints about them. I'll be starting the chargeback process with bank and hope for the best there, All that said I am hesitant to order from Alibaba for fear something will get lost in translation, The pictures and descriptions never seem to match. Does anyone have experience or tips on placing orders for something more than a @20 pair of shoes?

Don't give them a dime!!! They steal your money, give you nothing in return, then ignore you when you try to get a refund. Now they closed their site and set up a new business under the name Throne Factory. It's the same people running the same scam!!!! Do not trust them!!!!
