Thrift store dress

jennifer, on June 12, 2018 at 9:21 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 21
So please tell me if it's a stupid idea, I'm still so up in the air but I was considering looking at a few thrift stores in my area for a potential wedding dress. They always have beautiful dresses at a super discount price. I'm only wearing the dress once. As long as its beautiful and I love it does it matter where I get the dress or the price

My dress was 50 dollars and then I added a 50 dollar capelet and 70 dollars beaded belt. So no it doesn't matter!!! If you love it, go for it!

The place you get it from will only matter to you. Do you wanna go look in the back room of goodwill? Then GO FOR IT!! Who knows what gems you'll find in there? Let you be you! 😊

I see a lot of people doing this and they find some great dresses for cheap. If you love it, who cares how cheap it is lol

I honestly don’t think it matters, all that matters is that you love the dress!! I agree I’ve seen some pretty wedding dresses at the thrift store and they were all brand new.

You're only going to wear it once. Go for it. But only if you love it. Lol. Also make sure to check the dress/es for rips loose seams, and stains. You may be able to talk them down a little.

Thanks guys. That's what's was thinking. And although I won't have the big say yes to the dress moment in a store I still can bring my people and do it there

If you love it, it doesn’t matter where it came from! I got my shoes from Goodwill! Already broken in and in great condition! 😊

My dress was secondhand. I didn't get it from a thrift store, I bought it directly from another bride. If you find a dress you love that has been worn before, I see absolutely nothing wrong with taking advantage of the opportunity to save money!

I found my wedding dress at the Goodwill, accidentally. I wasn't even looking! The best $17.99 I've ever spent.

I say do it! I bought a thrift store dress for $85. It came with a beautiful necklace and a boquet. I plan on taking out the old flowers and using the holder again.
