Uneven sides are really common. It was persoanlly drive me crazy but it can be worked out fine. You can have two guys with one girl or esort a single family member (if you have any).

I think it's personal preference. You don't have to have even sides. But I like the look of it better.

We have 8 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. I'd rather have it look a little awkward to some people ( although I don't think it's weird or awkward) than put someone else in the wedding for the sake of having even numbers

Totally fine to have different numbers. Also, if you've already asked your bridesmaids, it's really rude to ask someone else as an afterthought.

Yep. We had uneven bridal party and it was fine.

I was short one girl, my last two Gm walk with her together and it worked out fine. Also numbers don't have to match at all!
