Hi ladies! So my wedding day is 19 days away. I’m feeling extremely excited, but also I’m starting to feel very nervous. When I get nervous I get super nauseous, and anxious. I guess the reason for my nervousness is bc I don’t like being in front of people... anyways any suggestions on how y’all kept calm on your wedding day? 😊

Have a shot of tequila if you drink at all to loosen you up.

Do you have bridesmaids? I️ would talk to my friends. Get them to level me. Keep me calm.

I would just say hi and thank you to be cordial to guests but then immediately just go to whom you are more comfortable with and socialize with them. There’s no way of getting around needing to socialize with other people you don’t know but you can keep that minimal at least

The Friday night before my wedding (wedding was Sunday) I got home after having dinner with some family and then a second dinner with some friends (lol) and was so anxious that I was having trouble breathing and felt so nauseous I literally thought I might puke. My mom made me some tea and I watched tv with her and my brother and my now-husband, and took a bath. I’m pretty introverted and not used to that much happening all at once and just the stress and interaction was just so emotionally and physically draining on me! I was so frustrated with myself because I didn’t want to feel anxious, I just wanted to feel excited! But I just let myself have that evening to relax and then when I woke up on Saturday I had so many back to back appointments and things to do that I honestly didn’t even have time to feel anxious anymore. Same with the wedding day.

You’ll be alright! Just don’t hesitate to take a step back and take a break from it all and take care of yourself (whether it be the next couple weeks leading up to the wedding, the weekend of, or even the day of!) Your health, both mental and physical, is the most important thing.

I don't know about shots, but maybe some tea to calm you and your favorite snack.

We’re getting married on the same day.....and starting to feel the same way. Drama between friends is adding unnecessary stress....MOH not wanting to attend bridal shower she planned...

Whenever I get anxious I think of my FH and remember that he's my best friend and there's nothing to be scared of because we know each other completely and we've been waiting a long time for this moment. If things go wrong on the wedding day, you still get to marry your person no matter what and that calms me.
