Thoughts on satin dresses ?

I love satin wedding dresses. They're classic and very elegant. Sometimes simple is more.

I think they are beautiful! I tried a few on and didn’t like how they looked on me. But I like them on other people.

They're very beautiful and classic. I really wanted lace and more flow, so not for me, but they definitely aren't all plain or old fashioned.

Funny you say this, because I’m going through the same thing. I always thought I wanted a lace dress before, but now that I’ve actually started planning my wedding I keep getting drawn towards saying gowns. I find them to be very simple and elegant. Plus they often come in a-line cuts which are flattering on most body types!

I didn’t try any, they reminded me of prom.
But that’s just me. If you find one you love, go for it!

I think they’re gorgeous! Not on me, and I always dreamed of a lace gown, but I think on the right person a satin dress is so classy.

Let me just say that I tried on a satin mermaid type gown and it was probably one of the more comfiest I’ve put on. It’s a mermaid gown and it flattered me and made me feel good. So yeah if you’re for satin go for it. Lol.

My dress is satin (for a garden July wedding...I may be crazy) I just fell in love with it. I tried on more 'modern' dresses but the Satin dress just felt like me. It has lace covering the skirt.

I LOVEEEE satin dresses. However when I went shopping for my dress the saleswoman said satin wrinkles easily and it will show in pictures

I LOVE satin. It’s elegant & refined. The style will make it modern or old fashioned. My dress has a satin skirt with an illusion/lace bodice. It’s not old fashioned at all.

Satin dresses remind me of prom and I’m not a fan, but it’s all a matter of preference.
