Thoughts on quad center rings??

Jordan, on January 9, 2020 at 6:35 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
Hey everyone! My fiancé proposed to me with a quad ring a I LOVE it, but I keep seeing things about people saying how much they hate quad rings because they’re trying to be something they’re not?? Also that they aren’t as sturdy as a regular solitaire ring. My only concern is the longevity of my ring. We do not have my ring insured yet and I wasn’t worried about it until I read some more about quad rings. What are you guys thoughts on them?? If you have a quad ring, how has it held up over the years?? I’ll insert a picture of mine. Thanks!! Thoughts on quad center rings?? 1

Your ring is beautiful, haters gonna hate! I haven't heard anything about longevity, but maybe people think the small stones could fall out or something? I think it would be a good thing to ask your jeweler and see what they recommend.

Id ask your jeweler. I havent heard anything regarding that, but I think it would also depend on how hard someone is on their hands. I have a center stone, with a smaller stone to the left and right. I'm shocked I havent killed it yet with how hard I am on my hands lol Smiley amazing

I feel like some people say these things? The ring I have is from the Zales Disney line, and I almost changed my mind because I was reading the reviews and a few people said the diamonds fell out. After wearing it, I can see why - the prongs are a little high and prone to catching on things. But honestly, I've had my ring for almost 4 months with no problems. I can see why people would post bad reviews though if they managed to knock a diamond loose. I'd take the reviews with a grain of salt, get it appraised by a jeweler and insured. Just for your peace of mind.

I agree with PPs, it’s likely cause you have more prongs to be careful of. If you love your ring then keep it! And just be careful any time you wear your ring. I’m hyper aware and try to not bang my hand around knowing it might knock my ER

If you love your ring, then keep loving it!!! All the rings I see on here are different and unique to each bride’s style. However, as with any engagement ring, it’s a good idea to take it to the jeweler every six months to make sure the setting is still secure, etc. And if it’s white gold, then it may need to be rhodium plated again. But your ring should be perfectly fine, especially if you aren’t banging it constantly.
