Thoughts on Minted's All-In-One invitations?

JJAF, on August 29, 2017 at 11:57 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 18

I was perusing through Minted's invitations and came across these all-in-one invitations for brides on a budget.

https://www.minted.com/product/all-in-one-wedding-invitations/MIN-Y5T-AIO/vines-of-green?color=A&shape=default&greeting=

What do you think of them? I don't want to spend much on invitations since they'll end up in the garbage anyway and thought this was a great way to prevent from wasting paper!

I paid less than this for 100 invites, rsvp cards, and business cards that we put hotel info and website on via vistaprint

I would look elsewhere. I think Minted is generally pretty expensive, and they almost never have good sales (like nothing is ever more than 15% off). I think Basic Invite also has the all in ones, and they're probably cheaper.

I like the idea of the all in one invitations but I think you can get them a lot cheaper elsewhere.

Minted has beautiful, clean designs, but I don't think they are worth the cost, especially the seal and send style of invitations, which are on the informal side, and the perfectionist in me would haaaate the perforation after tearing off the RSVP card. Wedding Paper Divas has similar styles for a much lower cost, and they currently have a 40% off sale since they will be moving to Shutterfly in mid September.

Has anyone ordered the all-in-one invites from Minted? I want to see one in person but they don't offer samples. I'd be willing to pay for shipping and buy it from you Smiley smile

I am considering buying the minted all in one. I’ve found a style I really like. Has anyone had issue with them?
Do these all in one invitations rip easily on the open sides at the post office?

I ordered my invitations through them. They are expensive if you don't get them on a deal. I got 65 invites, an insert, RSVP card, gold liner, bellybands and printed addresses for $500.

I'm looking at the seal and send too! I really like the concept and how easy they are because I ALWAYS lose pieces of the invitation when there's like 3+ cards in there. My only concern is their condition when they arrive.

Hi I have! They are super cute and great just add a postage stamp and off they go with all the info needed Smiley smile they included clear stickers to close and seal the invite when mailing and free addressing super easy to use!! We payed 158$ But that was including expedited shipping (because we needed them ASAP!) and got 20% off our order but if we didn’t get the expedited shipping we would have only spent like around 130$ or so, so definitely not a bad price at all for what they offer! We love our invites!

Hello! A few follow up questions: Do they address both to the invitee as well as the return address on the RSVP portion? When you received them from Minted, had they been folded already or shipped completely flat? Thanks!

I just ordered my all-in-one invites from Minted. They do address the recipient AND return address as well as the address for the response postcard for no extra cost. I searched other websites to see if they offer the free recipient and return addressing and they don't. I got my save the date cards from Minted and used their recipient addressing. It saved me so much time and they looked beautiful. To me, this is worth the extra cost rather than using clear labels or paying to have them handwritten. I will update when the invites come in Smiley smile

I've ordered my STDs, invites and will soon order table numbers and escort cards through Minted. I love their work and think their invites are beautiful and so well done. That being said, they are very expensive and if I had to do it all again, i would have definitely looked at less expensive vendors to see what i could have saved. I do love their stuff though and they address your envelopes for free which looks so nice!

I did order a sample of a bunch of the all-in-ones and they came completely flat. You have to fold and seal. That way you can include inserts if you want (we are doing this - just something small with hotel info). They also include seals for the sides so if you do put something inside, it won't fall out. Once I approve my proof and receive my actual invites I'll update you! Also, I got a promo code for a free "premium" wedding website through them after I ordered my save the dates. When you create a website you get a $50 credit toward anything so I used it on my invites. I ordered 115 and it was $140. Not too bad in my book, but if you're looking to spend a lot less or want a more formal invite then I can understand looking at other options.

I'm confused on where to put the stamp. On the back of the RSVP it says place stamp here but when you fold it up it doesn't show so do you use two stamps?

We ordered ours thru there and I found a discount code plus they were doing the free addressing. They come flat and you fold them. We are putting a stamp on the whole thing and then one on the RSVP so people don't have to find a stamp or go buy one. I love the fact that everything is there together and all they have to do is tear off the RSVP and send it back.
