Thoughts on light sky blue bridesmaids dresses vs. light dusty pink bridesmaids dresses (photos attached)? Really torn - whichever color chosen will b

I think they're both lovely colours! I will also give full disclosure - I LOVE pink. My engagement ring is pink, I had pink for my wedding, I am somewhat biased. That being said!

The 2 things I would say are that - both colours you posted are pretty pale. Depending on the colour of your own dress, you might want just a touch darker, so there is more contrast, because some pastels can photograph paler than you expect.

If that doesn't bother you though, my second thought would be that getting blue flowers is a little tougher than pink, depending on the time of year - there are a lot less naturally blue flowers than pink, so maybe check with your florist about the time of year your wedding will be, and what they'd be able to get to help you make a choice?

I personally love a nice pastel colour scheme, so I don't think you can go wrong either way, honestly, but my vote would always be for the pink, haha.

Thank you Rosie! I really appreciate your input and I agree I am leaning towards white flowers all around without color potentially too, so maybe that would take care of the blue flower issue.

The blue is *very* light and beautiful, but I agree with Rosie, pink looks so nice and also in the photos you posted has a bit better contrast with the white dress. Color is such a personal choice it’s hard to get unbiased opinions. I vote if you choose either to make sure it is dark enough to contrast with your dress.

I love the sky blue😍 the pink is pretty too but more people go for the pink than the blue so picking blue would be more unique🤩🦋 plus blue is such a calming color 😍 so many beautiful things are blue like the ocean🌊 and the sky☁️

I think the blue would be pretty for the beachside church/ reception overlooking the ocean, and it would pair great with the guys in navy. Echoing the above points about considering a bit darker of a color just to have some contrast with your dress. You could also use blue ribbons on the bouquets to add some color if you want!

Personally I'd go with blue. Since your groomsman are wearing navy, it'll be very complementary for them to wear a different shade. (: They're supposed to be background noise compared to you after all, seeing as how it's your big day.

You really can’t go wrong. Both beautiful! Pink is kind of everywhere right now, though.

Both are beautiful but they will photograph as white because they are so pale. When picking a color for dresses, they need to be flattering on the women wearing them. Not everyone can every color and some people look very washed out in the pale shades. You need to have each bridesmaid try on both colors to see what looks best on them.

Definitely the blue. I think it would look so good with the navy suits.

I prefer the blue because that’s my favorite color and I think the bride’s white dress stands out more. I second what Rosie said about not being able to find blue flowers. Most of the blue flowers are closer to a purple so it’s possible it might be too many shades with navy, light blue, and purple blue. I would talk to your florist and decide to do all white or add a third complementary color for the flowers if you go with the blue dresses. If I were your bridesmaid. I would wear what you chose but would be more comfortable in a darker shade. Just all things to keep in mind, good luck! 😊
