Thoughts on having more than one Maid of Honor

I'm having two. I had that same problem. My sister will stand next to me and my best friend will be second. I love them both so much, and I know giving I was or the other the title would never change their relationship with me. I figure people aren't following as many wedding traditions as they used to, so I could have two.

I have a matron of honor, and a man of honor. My fiancé is having 3 best men - you're fine haha. It's your wedding, do what makes you happy!

I originally planned on having 2 (my sister and my best friend) but my sister fell on hard times and just could not afford it so I only have 1. I think it's fine! It's your wedding! You do it how you want. No one really "sticks" to traditions anymore!

My sister and friend both had 2, I think it's completely fine. It's quite early to be choosing your bridal party though

It's fine to have 2 (or none! Or whatever!) but it's definitely too early to ask anyone, your wedding is almost 2 years away. Hang around for awhile and you'll see some stories as to why you should wait.

I have two also! One is my best friend from high school, the other is my best friend from college. I couldn't choose! I am close to both. Plus I know both of them would have been hurt slightly to have not been picked. So far there has been zero issues. Both are maids of honor as neither is married.

I almost did it, but it didn't end up working out. My bff has me and her other friend as the moh's in her wedding, but honestly I'm doing everything so it's kinda dumb. Unless the two live close and are happy working together, it should be fine.
