Thoughts on Friday Weddings?

We just got engaged and would love a 2014 fall wedding. I'm finding that a lot of venues have all Saturdays booked already but some have Friday evening weddings. A lot of our guest will need to travel at least 2 hours + to get to the venue. I don't want to inconvenience anyone but Fridays seem to be...

We just got engaged and would love a 2014 fall wedding. I'm finding that a lot of venues have all Saturdays booked already but some have Friday evening weddings. A lot of our guest will need to travel at least 2 hours + to get to the venue. I don't want to inconvenience anyone but Fridays seem to be best for venues. Any thoughts?

    I personally would go to a Friday wedding because I work retail and it's much easier for me to take off wrk. However I know my father only has one week of vacation time and my mom can't take off extra days because she just started a new job. Not everyone will be willing to take a Friday off even if they knew in advance.
