Those who have moved their dates... what's the next step???

Laura, on March 17, 2020 at 4:59 PM Posted in Planning 2 4

How did you tell guests? What are your plans if your new date falls through? What do the rest of us need to know that we haven't thought of - I just moved my wedding this morning to a new date. But, I'm figuring out how to tell guests and what I should do after that...

Advice?

My chapel, reception venue, florist, photographer, and officiant are all confirmed to my new date. What might I have missed or what do I need to do? I'm considering online invitations because I can email changes, but I don't have everyone's email addy. I feel better but also overwhelmed a bit. I'm also still working - so there's that.

So ours was small, and I just told my parents and posted on Facebook and updated our website. As well as texting/calling the wedding party. My current plan is to send thank you cards to everyone with the new date, but I also saw a post earlier today about a free date is changed card that was really pretty.

We were planned for this Saturday. Our guest count is 100 people. We emailed all of them and our coordinator called each vendor. We got a few calls and emails from family and friends.

We don't have everyone's email.... ugh. And the older people may not see it. Sigh.

Hello! I am doing this right now. I texted and emailed my list and my parents and future in laws took their groups. We are also sending a postcard to make it official. So many stationary companies are doing free filers to send via paperless post so look those up on IG and online. Good luck!
