Hi all. It would have been this Friday. Our big day. Wanted to reach out to those who are struggling in this time. I hope everyone is taking it day by day and looking forward to their future dates, if they’ve postponed.

I have much love for the community here on WeddingWire. Reading through forums when I was trying to make my decision was incredibly helpful and I feel comfort in knowing many other brides have worked through this.
Now! Looking forward to June 18th, 2021 and all the days in between!

Ours was supposed to be in about a week and a half (june 27) and it’s really starting to hit that I would’ve been married in a matter of days. And it also does stink that we probably could’ve had our small intimate wedding after all

The best advice I could give is to do something special on Friday to acknowledge the day. We did a zoom call with our entire bridal party and parents and it was so much fun! Best wishes as you count down to your new date!

You can still make it happen! I thought COVID was going to take me out..... nope it was the Clerk's Office. They were closed!!!!!! We had to drive an hour to the next counties courthouse... We got married in our backyard with 4 other people. Wouldn't change it for the world.

My advice would be to acknowledge the day by looking at photos from the beginning, to the proposal, to the engagement photos and have a meal together. Then top it off with some cake and champagne!

Thinking of all of you. Our original day is approaching (June 27). We plan to visit the beach and take a day trip outside the city. We are looking forward to an intimate ceremony in September and a vow renewal/reception next June. I think we all made the best decision for our guests. Hang in there!
