This may be a dumb question but…

So this question is for my four-eyed friends. Are you guys walking down the aisle with or without your eyes? lol. I want to go without, but I can’t see without my glasses.

I’m wearing mine (wedding is this Saturday!), and so is my fiancé. We wear them all the time, so we never really thought to not wear them.

I wore contacts for my wedding, mostly because I had the lenses that get darker in sunlight at the time and didn't want to look like I was wearing sunglasses in pictures. I got free samples of contacts from my eye doctor so I didn't actually have to order any. I did have to pay for the contact lens exam since that's a different exam then for regular glasses though.

I am going to try to wear contacts also. Even though I wear glasses all the time and my future husband loves my glasses, my glasses are really trendy and I don’t want to hate my wedding photos in 20 years because everything looks great except my now out-of-date glasses 😂. Plus, I’m spending a lot of money to have my makeup done! I want to be able to see my eye makeup.

That’s what I’m thinking. I want to be able to see my eye makeup. But I don’t have any contacts. So I’d literally have to choose between being able to see or being blind

Hey Jaleesha! If you can't see without them, I'd suggest wearing them! I might not wear mine but that's because I can see without mine lol

I don't wear glasses, but my sister does, she chose to wear contacts for her wedding. But she also wears contacts frequently (when going out to nicer places).

Lol. That’s a good thought. I can see close up. But not long distances.

Is there any way you could call either your personal eye doctor to see if they have an open appointment time or go to a Lenscrafters or Pearl Vision nearby for a contact consult? They typically give you a trial pair with your appointment.

Oh wow! First off, congratulations! Do you have some time today to swing by a place? In the past when I went to Peal Vision or Lenscrafters they've taken walk-ins. Hopefully they'd be sympathetic about your wedding being tomorrow.

I'm wearing mine. Contacts never work for me (I always feel like there's something in my eye) and I feel like I don't look like me without them (plus I can't see without them).

For me, while I do want to see my eye make up - I also still want to feel like myself. I want the pictures to still look like me, just slightly elevated. I don't want to look at them in 30 years and go "Who's that?" I'm a big believer in still looking like you on your wedding day.

I would wear your glasses for the ceremony and reception and maybe take some or all of your photos without. That way you can see, but you have photos where you can see all you makeup.
I personally wore my contacts, but I wear them often. My husband wore his glasses.

This was a good idea. I just called them. The lady said she will check to see if they have any samples and give me a call back.

I wish I had pockets in my dress. I was just going to tell my mom to hold them.
