Third time's a charm

Terry, on January 7, 2021 at 8:41 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

I was supposed to get married on March 21, 2020. Covid came along and 5 days before my wedding.. it was postponed until September 3, 2020, In the meantime, I got pregnant so even though my wedding was postponed again..... on September 3rd I had a small, intimate ceremony with close family and friends. Now my new wedding date is September 2, 2021 (only because no none would give me my money back). How do I invite people to this wedding since I'm already married? What kind of an invitation do I send out? How do I word it?

Invite them to a reception to celebrate your Covid wedding, And I think you should include third times a charm!!

You could word it as your wedding reception (if you're not doing a ceremony), or (if you are doing a ceremony) a vow renewal or celebration of marriage!

    You could say something like
“We couldn’t wait! Please join us for a reception to celebrate our marriage” you could include a photo of your intimate wedding if you wanted.

It would technically be a vow renewal
