There's a Stamp On It

Send it back!
Don't get me wrong.
I appreciate all of the RSVPs we've recieved. The yeses and the nos.I appreciate the declines we've been getting in the form of gifts. But to the 37 other RSVPs and 101 people attached to them, please send them back. It's just irritating knowing that potentially an additional 101 people could be coming to the wedding, and I won't know til Friday. Or even late next week at my bridal shower. Oyyy.

I hope it works out for you! Sometimes people are just so bad about rsvping. I’ve had people who just TELL me their rsvp also instead of giving me the card aha that I wasted a stamp on

That annoyed me at first... but now I'm like "at least they bothered".

We had 61 people not RSVP at all (so we had to reach out and just get their response via text) so about 25 households. We had 164 people RSVP total and about 20 of those were online. So overall, we sent out 35 or so stamps that weren't returned. I wasn't super frustrated just because I read these forums and found out how common it was for people not to RSVP! I wouldn't stress if at all possible, it'll all work out!

Oh man.... I've been seeing a lot of RSVP frustration posts and it's making me nervous for when I have to send ours out, especially when most of the guest list doesn't live here so I can't personally bug them and remind them.

Hang in there! Try to focus on looking forward to your bridal shower and remember that it'll all end up working out.

Thanks! I haven't hit my deadline til Friday, so I'm not too worried about it. Yet. Just super impatient. I just want to give numbers to my caterer and try to figure out how many tables I need.

😩🤦🏽‍♀️. I didnt stamp my rsvp envelopes. My thinking was “a bunch of ppl will use online rsvp”. I literally finally got my first online RSVP (besides my sil who is my bridesmaid & didn’t need to rsvp). The waiting is killer hope they rsvp in time

Ugh. My worse fear and I just sent the invites out. Right up there with this that say they’re coming and no show. I found out today at least one rsvp didn’t have a stamp so now I’m worried others don’t.

Waiting on RSVPs is the worst, and then a bunch of people won't even bother and you'll have to hunt them down 🤦‍♀️ I literally had 2 people RSVP maybe... um no that's not an option 🙄

We had 150 people not RSVP so I understand this! We texted the people we hadn't heard from and got responses from pretty much everyone within a day, but it would've been nice not having to reach out to so many people!

We, thankfully, only had about 10 families not respond to our RSVPs!

I've been contacting them this week and was luckily able to track down most of them and get an answer! Good luck in tracking them down!

It's pretty common. I would just plan on having to contact 25-30% of your guest list past your RSVP date. Between me, my husband, my mom and his dad, it took us about an hour to reach out to everyone so really easy.

That's about where we will be.
I'll have him/his mom contact his guests late next week.
And I'll contact my friends late next week as well. And my mom contact any family not invited to the shower.Hoping that any family we are waiting on will be at our shower next weekend and we can figure that out all before the meeting with the venue on the 11th.

Luckily, we're only out a max of $15 on postage.
Reading my messages and not responding will make me super salty.
