I called and made an appointment for my first fitting. She said to bring heels and undergarments, got it. She asked me to research what bustle I want. I didn’t know there were different types???

My dress is a fit and flare lace dress with a zip up back. I did a little googling, and it seems the French bustle is best for this type of dress? Does anyone have suggestions of what they did? Pics especially would be helpful.

Hi! I definitely dont know many names of bustles lol, but my dress is a fit and flare and this is how mine looks before and after bustle.

French BustleFrench Bustle
I did a french bustle (under bustle). I did not want any buttons on the outside of my dress due to the crepe material and because of the ruching it looked really weird when brought up. My seamstress put in 5 ribbons underneath the dress to hold up so it feels really secure! I don't love bustles, but it'll do.
