There are different types of bustles?

Mrsc2Be, on June 17, 2019 at 8:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8
I called and made an appointment for my first fitting. She said to bring heels and undergarments, got it. She asked me to research what bustle I want. I didn’t know there were different types???

My dress is a fit and flare lace dress with a zip up back. I did a little googling, and it seems the French bustle is best for this type of dress? Does anyone have suggestions of what they did? Pics especially would be helpful. Smiley smile

I’ve been searching google, but there aren’t a lot of pics of fitted gowns. That’s why I asked if people would share pics of their own gowns.

I did a french bustle (under bustle). I did not want any buttons on the outside of my dress due to the crepe material and because of the ruching it looked really weird when brought up. My seamstress put in 5 ribbons underneath the dress to hold up so it feels really secure! I don't love bustles, but it'll do.
