I am absolutely stuck on a theme for my actual wedding? I have no clue what I want. Can someone help inspire me?

What is something you and your fiance mutually love or how you met?
My fiance and I go to the Renaissance festival multiple times a year and he's Scottish so our theme is Celtic / Ren fest
You can make just about anything work as a theme. Just figure out what you love and how much you can spend on decorations. The basic beach or barn themes are easy to find and probably cheaper. Anything not so popular will take more time and could cost more (depending on what you need)

You also don't need to have a theme if you don't want to. We didn't, and we still got tons of compliments about how beautiful our wedding was. We focused more on just creating an elegant feel and chose a color palette that complimented the venue.

If say focus on the feel you want, rather than theme. Maybe you want vintage, romantic or modern, classic. Then do a Pinterest search on that. We’re opting for a romantic, vintage-y feel which will translate into dark tablecloths with lighter florals and candles. The backdrop is a 1800s Victorian mansion and its grounds.

Both Nightmare Before Christmas and Harry Potter would be such fun themes! Maybe with those in mind, look at some venues? If you fiancé likes haunted hotels or historic inns, either would be fantastic for NBC. A lodge or winery could be great as an HP hall reception, or a library!

You don’t need a theme. You can just go for a look or feel that you like. Do you like the beach, rustic look, elegant/glam, etc.

I think the theme is y’all ❤️ Give him a grooms cake of his love. If it’s a winter wedding you could easily do a classy nightmare before Christmas. Otherwise a Harry Potter wedding would be perfect to pull off in a classy way. You’ll probably have more ideas and things to buy (instead of make) with a Harry Potter theme. Just something to take into consideration!

Pinterest!!! honestly there is SO many ideas. Even if you don't like anything enough yet there is so much inspiration there. and to be honest you don't even have to go all out with a "theme" just find a nice color scheme that you like and go from there.

You don't need a theme! Don't stress about that. Find a venue and pick some colors that you both like..it will fall into place.

We don't technically have a theme. We started out small..and it's been coming together. It's a winter wedding. Our colors are dark green, gold and different hues of brown/tan. The save the dates and invitations are pine trees/snow/mountains. We are also doing small nods to Harry Potter throughout. I'm making small snitches with beads/charms. One will be in FH boutonniere and there will be one hidden in the centerpiece of every table. Lots of candles and fairy lights. The favors are skeleton key bottle openers that I'm adding wings to. Our cake topper says always. There's a balcony and iron staircase in our venue that I will be hanging the glass globes with led tea lights from to look like floating candles. Our card box is two pieces of vintage looking luggage stacked on top of each other that I will add FH and my initials to. FH is the bigger Harry Potter fan but I'm having a great time adding the little hints of it!

Fiance and I are going with a romantic/classic vibe. No specific "theme" but we are a more relaxed couple and hope to have a relaxed/intimate feel at our wedding Smiley smile

I was lost on theme as well. I started out by deciding on a color palette; once we picked one we went with it. Our colors remind us of a tropical sunset and since we love to travel our "theme" is more travel/tropical. At times I feel it's a little muddled but I think it will pull together nicely in the end. You don't need a theme... and sometimes a theme slowly emerges over the course of planning.

We did a Harry Potter inspired wedding. Now, i knew throughout the entire thing not all of our guests are going to know what this is. so it was important to me that we had elements of Harry Potter but overall it stayed a beautiful wedding. here are some of the elements we used.

We are actually doing a Calla Lily theme since it's my favorite flower. Here are some pics. (The seating chart is just a sample).
