We have our color scheme, but is it necessary to have a theme? Or as long as I have a design idea that is plenty right. I do have a wedding planner that will help with design. I just wasn’t sure if a theme is necessary.

No a theme is unnecessary and can often look childish.

Themes aren’t required but can really personalize your wedding. If done well (nice venue, cohesive decor elements) a themed event can actually look great and be a lot more memorable for you & guests.

My colors are beautiful but my theme is Epic Wedding party. We're having glow Sticks and batons, dancing swirling lights, pulsating uplighting after 9 and my dj is very popular in our area.
