I'm torn between a mardi gras theme wedding and a peacock theme. Does anyone have any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

Pick the venue first that you love. Most will fit any decor style

My best friend is having a wedding with both of these themes combined. Peacock feathers for centerpieces and masquerade masks as favors (wedding is on Halloween).

Peacocks, such spectacular, elegant birds. I lived for a while near a park with peacocks, and always thought the white ones were the ultimate image of a bride! As well as loving g the gorgeous blue green ones. ******** ( And I am getting tired of anything with masks, which usually add mystery, but not now.)

I feel like you could combine the two possibly! Mardi Gras colors are typically the purple, green and golds but you could even do more “peacock” colors with Mardi Gras masks and beads, if that makes sense! I’ve seen lots of Mardi Gras balls where they use lots of black, silver, blue, etc. The thing with Mardi Gras is bold, rich colors—much like a peacock!

Girl I've seen a winter wedding in the middle of summer. Those peacock colors in masks will be beautiful! I would only stick with two maybe three deep colors as things start to clash when you have too many primary colors. Get a Pinterest account if you don't have one already. She will be your best friend.

No problem, let me know if you need help navigating. Pretty simple though. You create vision boards, name them and find pins to save to your boards. I have a food board, workout board, home board, clothing board and much more. I'll send you PM with my Pinterest account so you can get some inspo.

I feel Mardi Gras is more lively and free while peacock is more formal. Don’t forget your parasol though 💜

I'd definitely find a nice historic venue indoor/outdoor first then start planning!
