I am super bored and feel like a stalker, so I am gonna post and take out some of the creepy

Everyone has super cute themes, and all I have are colors. I don't plan on picking an actual theme like some people do (my MOH did Highschool Sweethearts as her theme for her wedding), but I have seen some people name their theme based on colors.

Any good name ideas for Eggplant, Black and Silver?

Also, what is everyone else's themes/colors? (I know this post exists but I am asking again!)

This a great post!! I love when people talk about themes; I think they make weddings more interesting, memorable, fun, and personalized .

My main theme or style is nature, and then I expanded from there. I started with the fact that I've always wanted an outdoor wedding (FH too) and we love everything about the outdoors! We want to live in a log cabin one day so my desired venue is at a log cabin. That led me to wood, moss, rocks, twine, burlap, and other natural materials. I also think it would be cute to have little owls everywhere since I love owls and they live in nature . My favorite flower is the sunflower, so that helped me pick my colors.

My colors are sunflower yellow, purple (lavender and eggplant), sage green, and chocolate brown. I want to wear a champagne or ivory dress, and FH will wear a chocolate brown suit with an ivory vest, shirt, and tie.

So anyway you can kind of see my theme got to where it is by evolving over time. It's hard for me to think of a theme just based in your colors 'cause a theme should really mean something to you. Maybe you and your FH could make a list of things that are important to you and see if there are some things that would work well for your wedding. HTH!

We didn't have a theme and I didn't expect to have one we do now but before I was just colors too and went toward wanting the room to have an elegance look my colors are purple, silver with a touch of blue. I will say when I came up with an actual theme it helped a ton with my vision but I don't think you need a theme persay to have one I am horrible with names but know I felt like you too who knows mabye it will come to you for you have plenty of time.

@littlefoot I love that!
Both FH and I are huge video game players (I am currently on a mission to beat all 4 God of Wars in the next 3 days haha), and we both listen and enjoy like, rock and metal music, but I don't want a super gothic wedding, or one that revolves around video games, so I am still kind of thinking.
And we are so far out he kind of refuses to talk to me about it LOL
