Theme poll

I’m not a huge fan of beauty and the beast themes, to me it always just seems like you’re calling the groom a beast? Lol. I love Grease!

I'm a Beauty and the Beast fan, but if you are feeling for something edgier, I would go with Grease.

I know, I already voted for Grease. But how could you not looking at these ideas...

I agree that Grease would be a lot of fun. I love Beauty and the Beast (and Grease), and to be honest both of these ideas have VERY different vibes. I think it comes down to the vibe you want and the style you like. I feel like they will also dictate the formality, Beaty and the Beast as a fairytale princess story seems to me like it would either be more traditional and formal or more cutesy, depending. Both also dictate fashion choices, do you have an idea in mind of what you want your dress to look like? I thought I wanted a ball gown until I tried a couple on and felt overwhelmed by all the fabric and realized it wasn’t the right style for my body. Do you have a venue in mind? Will one theme or the other work better for the venue you want? If you haven’t picked a venue, maybe start there before picking a theme, maybe you’ll find the perfect venue and know exactly what theme works in the space. Good luck!

I just spoke with the FH and he said it has to be Grease because he will not wear a tux in August. But, he also said no to wearing a leather jacket in August too.

The venue for the ceremony will be at a rose garden. The reception location is my grandparents backyard.

I know Beauty and the Beast and Grease are movies. They are 2 of my all time favorite movies. I selected Beauty and the Beast because it's romance and classic. I also chose Grease because it is a fun era and I love rockabilly style.

My FH told me a little bit ago that he will not wear a full tux in August. But he also said he won't wear a leather jacket in August.
