So I am doing the waiting now to see what will happen in regards to my wedding on August 9. Let me start with David's Bridal. So I called David Bridal about my dress and making an appointment for alterations back in May. It was canceled bc they did not know when they were going to open bc the city is shut down due to the virus, so I made another appointment for June. Now it is June and David's Bridal called me to let me know that they will have to ship my dress and accessories to me bc they do not know when they are going to open (maybe June 19th). They are waiting to see what is going to happen in the city. But I can take it back if I need alterations on my dress. Now onto the venue, I called them this month (June) and asked them about my wedding. Although they said it a green for my wedding (my venue is in a surrounding county), they know just as much as I know if it is really going to happen bc the city of Philadelphia just went on yellow as of June 5th. It is a waiting game bc I can not do anything else like ordering tuxes bc stores have not opened up yet and I have to wait to see bc it will determine what I need to do in regards to letting my guess know what is the deal is. I really don't want to wait but it is what I have to do. But on the positive note, my son turned 18 on May 29th and he is graduating from high school on June 9th (school district virtual graduation) and then on June 10th (his high school is giving their own virtual graduation). Then he goes of to college in September. I will miss him.
