If the groom can’t see the brides dress YET, how would he know Which kind tux to get? Or does it matter? Should I go with him? We went to one place and because my dress is white and it’s very detailed the guy in the store suggested that he should wear a plain blazer /a plain suit jacket....I was under the impression that men can wear any style they want ....

I think if you went with him it would be fine but ultimately I feel like the men’s suit is usually so neutral it could be fine

Yes go with him. They can wear whatever they want as long as it goes with the wedding theme/color. My FH is wearing a blue suit with a coral tie and Brown shoes. Simpler to pic below. If we would to have groomsmen they would wear almost the same but i think I would change the vest up. There are a lot of ways to dress him up or even if he wants to be simple that would look great too. Other pics are our daughters dresses
