My caterer doesn't supply the nicer disposable plates for our buffet dinner, so I was on the hunt for good deals! I ordered our gold cutlery from Amazon, the brand is WDF and I ordered our gold rimmed plastic wine glasses for the bar on Amazon as well but when it came to plates, etc. I needed something a little better in price compared to other online retailers. I was pretty set on using Webstaurant since I had read so many reviews and I already knew what I needed, so once my budget allowed I went to place the order. Low and behold the website was down for the day. While I was waiting for it to come back up I started looking around more and found The Restaurant Store. Comparable prices (if not the same prices) as Webstaurant, the same inventory, and the same website layout. I decided to give them a try as I've heard of them before as well. I posted a photo of what I ordered and the prices below. I ordered two cases of the 10" plates, 3 cases of 6" plates, bags for our cookie table and cocktail napkins for the bar, apps table, and cookie/cake table. Everything equaled $177 and shipping was another $16 on top of that. When I placed my order there was no estimated shipping time or anything on the email or the confirmation page. Out of curiosity I live-chatted someone from the company to ask about standard shipping times. She told me it would go out within the week because some warehouses were affected by the hurricane.
I ordered my items Friday morning, they shipped Friday afternoon and arrived to my front door via FEDEX yesterday afternoon. Everything was also packaged really well so it wouldn't get damaged. I am soooo glad I went with this company, that's one more thing checked off the list!
